Hello, I’m new to RISC-V and would like to try a desktop board (no gaming needed).
The BeaglePlay shows specs with an ARM processor, so I’m confused as I’m looking for RISC-V?
I would like:
Audio connection for speakers (unless there’s some wireless way I don’t know about?)
Bluetooth for mouse or keyboard
Display connections x3, perhaps micro HDMI or USB-C (AOC 22B2H or similar)
CPU: RISC-V or ARM
Graphics integrated
Mobo: SBC
NIC x2 (run a VM router)
Power
Ram: 16-32GB preferred
Storage: NVMe PCIe, probably 32GB-256GB, nothing large like 1TB
We have considered testing them, big negative is only 1 ethernet port. Found a banana board and it has 2 ethernet ports on it and rk3588. Problem with them is they have no support. I even asked them a question about using vulkan, this was on their “official” amazon store and they ignored me. Went to the “alleged” wiki, same thing and its loaded with trash. They claim millions of unit a year in capacity, my assumption is they are a contract manufacture that does not know anything about the boards.
Problem we are running into is lack of resources on these boards, the imx8 SoC we are using is now choking and it looks like that project will be big box only.
