perhaps you remember the post I wrote some time ago, when I talked about the huge delay of shipment by digikey and their not-so-kind behavior.
Well, I placed the order on 24th October and they told me all the items (beagle board + dvi cable) were in stock. After a week they said one item was out of stock and it will be available on 28th November. Note that they didn’t want to send me the beagle board separately because I selected to ship the entire order (yeah, but all items should be available!!!).
Today I’ve asked them if the item is ready to ship and they have said it isn’t, and it isn’t possible to know when it will be.
So I’ve just asked to cancel the whole order. They have answered I have to pay other 40$ to have the money back!!!
They are the absolute worst on-line company I have ever done business with.
I’m very sorry to say this but I won’t use beagle board in my projects and I will select another embedded board because it is too hard to buy from digikey. Thank them a lot.
Now, the point is: I want to cancel the order due to their fault. I can’t do that. .

I would say that your experience is very unusual. I have used DigiKey for years and I have almost always had amazing service. You will probably find that there are several parts that will work, but the one you ordered was not in stock. I checked their inventory, and here is what you should order as these are in stock:
AE10259-ND – DVI cable
296-23428-ND – BeagleBoard
Order them now and they will ship them on Monday.
Remember, the BeagleBoard is a fantastic platform and you will not find anything comparable for this price.

Actually, I ordered AE10258-ND and 296-23428-ND.
The point is: if an item is out of stock why don’t say? Instead, they said all is in stock before the payment…
Anyway, I ask them if they could change the AE10258-ND with AE10259-ND.
Remember, the BeagleBoard is a fantastic platform and you will not find anything comparable for this price.

Yeah, but as said before the Beagle Board *is* available and ready to ship. The missing item is the DVI cable!
