DVI-D cape doesn't initialize with monitor plugged in

Some monitors have their EDID EEPROM responding to all addresses, including the one on the cape. You may have one of those monitors. A solution would be removing the I2C2 voltage translator U3 to disconnect the monitor’s EDID EEPROM. Only do this if you don’t want to use your monitor’s EDID.
