Hi,
I got my beagleboard just a few weeks ago. I am having trouble
getting my DVI-D working with my beagleboard. I followed the boot
verification sections in section 12 and have been able to get my board
to flash its NAND with the files provided online (i.e., u-load, x-
load...etc) and booting from SD card. I have also tested the board
without booting from the SD where I got a chance to play with the DVI-
D commands (i.e., mw 0x805... fff0e...) provided in the reference
manual and have succeeded in turning my DVI-D screen on/off and the
different colors. However, now that I boot from the SD card and load
the Angstrom kernal (or what have you) my DVI-D connection does not
work. The LCD monitor says "Not Supported Mode", etc, etc. This is
odd as I have said, I have been able to play with it.
The test that I am trying to run is the sample_video.avi file. If
anyone has an idea I appreciate any support that can be provided.
Thank you.
P.S. This is the website where I downloaded the files I eventually
put on my SD card: http://code.google.com/p/beagleboard/wiki/BeagleboardRevC3Validation
See test 2 under board validation for the test I am referring to.
