for no defensible reason, i installed a full ECM suite on my
ubuntu-loaded xM yesterday:
i happen to know a couple people at the company nuxeo.com, which is a
fully open-source ECM (enterprise content management) company, so it
just amused me to load up my xM with openjdk and a few other required
packages, then fill it with the java-based document management
software.
no reason, it just amused me.

p.s. that's the display view when running at the original, prebuilt
res of 800x600 -- you can see it's shortened side to side. when i
bump it up to 1280x720, the desktop at least fills the physical
display. still trying to get the full 1600x900, if that's even
possible.
