eMMC (mmcblk0) not detected on BeaglePlay – only SD card visible

Hi,
I’m facing an issue where the BeaglePlay eMMC (mmcblk0) is not detected at all—only mmcblk1 (SD card) appears in the system. When using the eMMC flasher image, flashing fails with:
destination /dev/mmcblk0 doesnot exist and the system ends in a kernel panic.
Booting from SD works, but still the eMMC device never shows up.
Looking for help on why mmc0 is missing and how to debug this further.

Please share the output of sudo beagle-version

Regards,

My only beagle with flash is a A5C BBB. On that “lsblk” gives:

[summers@BBB ~]$ lsblk
NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINTS
mmcblk0 179:0 0 29.8G 0 disk /home
mmcblk1 179:256 0 1.8G 0 disk
`-mmcblk1p1 179:257 0 1.8G 0 part /
mmcblk1boot0 179:512 0 1M 1 disk
mmcblk1boot1 179:768 0 1M 1 disk

In my case mmcblk1 is emmc and the “mmc” util from mmc-utils use use something like:

sudo mmc extcsd read /dev/mmcblk1

For my eMMC that gives

[summers@BBB ~]$ sudo mmc extcsd read /dev/mmcblk1

And this is useful

[summers@BBB mmc1:0001]$ cat /sys/class/mmc_host/*/mmc*/name
EB1QT
MMC02G

And you can seem my eMMC has the name MMC02G - so its one of the old 2G devices
