enable hdmi in console images

Hi to all of you,

I am using a rev B with 1gb emmc and I have booted with the console image of buster, but I have not been able to have any hdmi output what so ever.

When I am booting with AM3358 Debian 10.3 2020-04-06 4GB SD IoT I have my hdmi monitor working fine

If I am correct The previous two outputs show that both versions come up with the same overlays.
I have also tried to have the default resolution defined but no result.

I would appreciate any help or hint

Kind regards
Dimitris

I think you need to change in uEnv.txt file.

go to:

debian@beaglebone:~$ nano /boot/uEnv.txt

then comment below lines:

disable_uboot_overlay_video=1
disable_uboot_overlay_audio=1

Next:

Ctrl-x(save).

Final:
debian@beaglebone:~$ sudo reboot

After Rebooting Beaglebone. your problem will be solved.

Hi Raj,

My respective lines are commented anyhow but there is no video. In case there was some misconception, I also tried to comment also out and in with sequential reboots but nothing come out .

Cheers
Dimitris
