Hi guys!
I’ve never been to Embedded systems conference held in the USA, so I think to attend one. Can anybody tell if it is really interesting and worths flying from Russia to CA for 16 hours? We have similar events in Moscow but they are so boring and mostly show inventories of local distributors.
Any ideas will be appreciated!
Depends on your interests. I think ESC San Jose is a good show and worth it if you have a booth to meet people or can otherwise setup meetings. Lots of good contacts to be made there and some good training as well. We haven’t had a good BeagleBoard.org meet-up in a while and might do one if enough interest was expressed, ie. get a room w/ some food and drinks and power sources.
If you are more interested in embedded Linux, consider ELC. I think that show tends to be more of the base of BeagleBoard.org supporters.
