Ethernet connection

Hi,

I connected Ethernet cable to on board Ethernet port My Beagleboard xM Rev A3, but actually it requires some settings to use internet so can any one help me to solve my problem?

Have you googled "linux configure networking" ??? There are a ton of pages out there that will teach you this.
