Hi-
I need to arrange for clicking some icon somewhere in the user interface (on the desktop or from a shelf) to execute an arbitrary command; for example run a particular python script. I have wasted much time trying to discover how this can be done. I’m sure it must be possible; does anyone know how?
The Enlightenment I’m running claims to be: 0.16.999.050.
I’ve found the link below:

but that information does not seem to apply to the Enlightenment as it runs on the Beagleboard (the right click does not offer a “'create icon” command, there is no ~/.e/e/applications/bar/.order file, etc.).
A link to a relevant “HOW TO” would be much appreciated.
