feature request: (new) post by email

the forum interface is, well, i find it utterly disgusting.
can we please gain the ability to post to the BB no-longer-proper-lists via email?
discourse can do that, is there any real reason why this is not enabled?

@jkridner : Sure. The email in question contains headers indicating that it originated from a mailing list, which caused it to be rejected by Discourse:

Isnā€™t that the e-mail address where we are supposed to be able to post new messages? I have it routed through Google Apps just to make it flexible, but it isnā€™t really a mailing list. I can redirect it if necessary.

@jkridner Yes, thatā€™s the correct email address, but Iā€™m not sure of the path the message took to get to our system. Either the originating mailer or any of the MTAā€™s along the way could have added those headers (or failed to remove them if it was a forward or something).
