HI guys,
I am currently trying to connect a Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle to my beaglebone white but I am having some problem. I followed the instruction I found on this website http://ferryzhou.wordpress.com/2011/08/01/beagleboard-angstrom-usb-bluetooth-enable/ and I was able to make my bluetooth device discoverable by both my and my phone. However, when I tried to pair my computer or my phone with the dongle, I encountered the following error: “Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt”. After that, my beaglebone did not respond at all and even the usr leds were not blinking anymore. Also, during the process of making my bluetooth operational, I came across the following error: “Bluetooth: hci0 command tx timeout”. After some research, I discovered that it seems to be a kernel bug presents since kernel 3.1.0. I believe that these 2 errors might be related. Do you guys have any ideas on how I could solve my problem? Moreover, is there anybody who was able to get a bluetooth dongle to work with the beaglebone? If yes, could you told me which procedures did you do, which bluetooth dongle and kernel version did you use? Thank you all for your responses.
