Getting Started with Beagle Board Blue

Hi all,
I’m new to Beagle and am trying to get started. I went to the https://beagleboard.org/blue and watching a video called “Getting Started”. It mentions a web link on https://beagleboard.org/blue called “Getting Started” but I don’t see the link. I also went to FAQ and it says go to http://192.168.8.1:3000 but this says "

This site can’t be reached

192.168.8.1 took too long to respond."

Are there any other getting started tips?

thank you,

Scott

seems to imply that one needs to first connect using the USB cable and
issues commands to have the Blue connect to your router's WiFi.

192.168.8.1 may only be valid if the Blue is acting as an access point,
which would mean you need your computer to connect to that Wifi access
point (disconnecting from your router). You won't have internet access
during this.

Does anyone else have any tips on getting started?
thank yo!

Plug it in to your computer via its USB cable, and use your web browser to go to either http://192.168.6.1 or http://192.168.7.1. I can’t remember which is the one for a windows host and which for linux host. Either way, a webpage will come up and you can see some of the ways you can work with the blue.

You can also ssh into the device at whichever of those addresses works, and there’s plenty of tools available on the default image.

It’s a small computer and you can do whatever you can figure out how to program. Have fun.
