Hi everyone,
With the rise of embedded AI and industrial automation, I’ve recently been exploring how BeagleBone boards (especially the Black and Green variants) hold up in real-world projects in 2025.
I was particularly impressed by how BeagleBone balances affordability, real-time capabilities, and GPIO flexibility. For anyone interested in building systems that require low-latency I/O, PRUs, or direct hardware interfacing, it’s still one of the most accessible boards.
A few questions for the community:
-
Which BeagleBone variant are you currently using?
-
Are you integrating BeagleBone into robotics, industrial control, or something else?
-
Have you found any challenges working with the newer kernels or capes?
-
Any must-have tips or accessories that have made your development smoother?
Looking forward to learning from everyone’s experiences and sharing what works best today.
Thanks!
