Google Summer of Code

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a 3rd year student currently pursuing my Bachelors in Electronics and Communications Engineering at VIT University Chennai,India.

I have been fascinated with microcontrollers and singleboard computers ever since I took a course on Embedded Systems in my sophomore year.

While researching the organizations taking part in this year’s Google Summer of Code I came across The beagleboard project and the previous projects it has undertaken like adding sensor support to Python, using Android phones as a network boot source etc.

I would like to contribute to the Beagleboard project this year during my summer break starting from May as it would help me learn more about about programming on single board computers and get exposed to the best practices used by developers around the world.

My skillsets include,
Python , JavaScript and

writing code in C for ARM mbed platform.

Thanking you,
Abhishek Murali

The resources at BeagleBoard.org - t (https://e-ale.org) could be of some learning value. Same with https://bootlin.com.

Do you have thoughts about how your project would look?
