Gotcha! Hobby King 6-wire JST-SH wire colors

FWIW I just made an assumption that luckily didn’t fry my 'blue. I bought some of the Hobby King 6-wire JST-SH pre wired assemblies listed in the FAQ. There is one black wire and five white wires. I assumed the black wire on the left to be ground. Looking at the SPI connector on the board, oriented with the servo connector to the right, the ground is actually the right most pin not the leftmost wire which is black.

Jason, I’ll leave it to you if the following sentence would be helpful for the section of the FAQ.

“Beware; purchased pre-made connector assembly wire colors may not reflect true pin designations.”

Given a connector with 1 black and 5 white wires -- my assumption would
have been that the black identifies PIN 1 with no concern about just what
signal is on pin 1.
