Hello, I am Gabriel Kis an undergraduate student in Electrical Engineering at Unicamp (Brazil). I am very interested on contributing to BeagleBoard, particularly the idea “Update Cape compatibility layer” which is about something that I like, that is low level peripherals drivers, but I don’t know if it is a too hard first issue.
The languages that I am most used to are C and python. In C I mostly program on embedded devices (ST, Nordic and Espressif) and already used ceedling framework for unit testing C code. And python I used for unit/integration tests with multiple devices through pytest. However I am not used to develop the linux-kernel and contribute to open-source projects.
I just entered the channel on IRC, should ask questions about the project there?
