I would like to design a solar panel interface to power the beagle
board. I have experience in designing solar engines. This is one of
the "ideas that need to be flexed out" given in the beagleboard-gsoc
wiki. I would like the voltage specifications with the beagle-board
hardware developers before I make my application.
I would also like to interface DC motor drivers to the beagle board
using LM293D or LM298 for purposes of using the beagle-board for
robotics. This will help us make beagle-board more popular especially
among hobbyist roboticists.
I would like to both the above interfacing i.e. solar panel as well as
dc motor, as one summer project. If you have any suggestions or ideas
or question please discuss, so that I can make my gsoc application as
convincing as possible.
