Okay. So, if anyone is interested in building neat stuff still, awesome and nice and all.
Now, I am using the Kicad project for building a bumps board PCB/Cape for the BBB (beaglebone black). I have seen some differences in builds depending on the git version and finding parts is not all that bad for now. I think I am going to use PCBWay for testing the bumps Cape and I would like some input.
Has anyone built this Cape? If so, what did you find to work? If so, what did you find to not work?
I have been reading the routings on the PCB in Kicad.
I think there are some oddities in the routings but I could be off on that specific part when looking over the PCB.
It seemed like GND and PWR (3.3v) were hitting the same pinout for the pin simultaneously.
Short!
So, the time is late now. I still would like to reach out to the community of beagleboard.org persons to see if anyone has built this specific Cape from Kicad and the repo on github…
Reply late or not, no big woof. I will try to reply. I got so excited to find the actual parts, I totally forgot what time it may have been during my research.
Three hours flew by me and I came to thinking, “No time like now.” Then it hit me…”IT IS LATE!”
