HDMI output during uBoot

Has anyone been able to port HDMI output into the uBoot process? What I’m looking for is having a logo or splashscreen on a HDMI monitor during the uBoot process. As it is, we don’t see anything until very late in the (angstrom) Linux boot.

There are some da850 fb bits in uboot, not sure how much actually works at the moment.

Thanks for that info. However, doesn’t the Black use the TDA19988 for HDMI output thought? How close is the DA850?

The LCD controller found on the am335x is based on the da850 IP found on former ti devices.
