how do I test the video out?

I would like to see something coming out of the -svideo connector - to
my monitor. I am using the xM version and the pre built image from SD
Card. I have no daughter card.

I tried searching in the /usr/bin but all I saw was testsvideo - that
doesnt seem to throw anything.
Then I looked at the modules in angstrom - I dont know which one to
test.

Shoudnt there be a frame buffer test or some video test that throws
out something - especially when you have the hdmi and s-video and even
lcd for the system.

Thanks

Has any tested s-video out of xM version? I would be happy to get the commands to do it…

Thanks

Hello newpanda,
you can activate your s-video changing your boot.scr as it is
explained on the following website on the section "Beagle Bx/Cx & xM"

Good luck,

Hello PRASANTH RAJAGOPAL,

Has any tested s-video out of xM version? I would be happy to get the
commands to do it...

I have never tried command lines to this, it works changing the
settings on boot.scr as I have mentioned to newpanda. However, I have
found the following website which has some command lines and it might
work:
