What are the requirements needed in order to not have every single post be checked and approved by a moderator?
It can be a bit fuzzy, even to us moderators. There is a scoring mechanism. Are you finding it is taking a long time for a moderator to approve your post?
I can report that the approval of my posts was done really quick. All in less then 24hours. After the first few posts this requirement for approval is gone. This is fine how its been handled recently.
