How to boot my BBB with debian rootfs

Hi @RobertCNelson,

I have recently successfully boot my BBB from SD-Card. Where I build ML0, U-boot.img, extlinux.config file using buildroot.
But I use pre build rootfs from debian-rootfs.

By this methos, I reached till login window but after that I am getting issue.

Q.1. Why I am not creating rootfs from buildroot and using the same ?

I did the same thing. I build rootfs using buildroot and place that into my ROOTFS partition.
I boot my BBB successfully. I achieve my target as well.

Q.2 Why I need debian rootfs ?

There is one problem with my rootfs build using buildroot that there is no package manager like apt or dkpg. If anything I want to download from internet. I am not able to do that.

So overall summary of my problem is that I want package manager in my BBB. So I can download as I do in ubuntu machine using sudo apt install <package>.

Please help me to find out the solution.

Thanks & Regards
Vivek Yadav
