How to configure WiFi on BeagleV Ahead with Debian "trixie"?

I downloaded the eMMC flash artifacts from https://git.beagleboard.org/beaglev-ahead/xuantie-ubuntu/-/jobs/51198 and successfully flashed the BeagleV Ahead. I have a console login via a USB-UART bridge working. How do I configure the WiFi?

I have the board up on a wired connection. But for some reason, the ethernet port sometimes changes its MAC address on a reboot! How can I stop this?

It looks like there are two issues:

  1. wpasupplicant isn’t on the filesystem.
  2. There’s no wlan0 device.
