how to restart beagle board linux without power cyccle?

Hi,

I am using the diagnostic image on beagle board.

Is there any software command to restart linux running on BB without
power cycle it?

Hi,

The command to do so is “reboot”
To just power down (without restarting) use : “poweroff”

“init 6” doesn’t work in this case…

One thing which I have experienced though with “reboot” is that more often than not, is that while restarting, my BeagleBoard (REV B6) will get stuck in after the X-Loader at “Looding OS Bootloader”… Yet to find the solution to this…
