I’m not sure what happened to Angstrom. My guess is that Koen Kooi to started Angstrom has left Circuitco and taken a job with Linaro and now someone else is probably maintaining the site. I know they had a crash a few weeks ago and someone is trying to get the site up and running again. Perhaps someone with more knowledge can help explain more.

BTW, you can always build Angstrom packages on your machine.

Or just stop dealing with the hassle of trying to figure out where to get this or that cause of the online issues they have been having and choose a different distro. Plenty of other ones that are supported.

I cant because i have to use screenconnect (see www.screenconnect.com) it currently only works on angstrom. I wish it worked on ubuntu but it does not. just read the forums for screenconnect where the beaglebone black issue is existant. some garbage about mono not found when installed in ubuntu or debian for beaglebone. screenconnect support is not too ontop of the arm linux thing because its just a few guys who want this to work.

I will pass to the crew at screenconnect.com and see if they could possibly make screenconnect work with ubuntu or debian for beaglebone blacks.

You can view all packages here:
http://feeds.angstrom-distribution.org/feeds/v2013.06/ipk/eglibc/
or you can also use opkg to list all the packages available.
