They’ll be creating a wholesale purchase, so it will not impact distributor stock. Getting a few alpha units and a handshake agreement to buy wholesale is what we’ve contributed to their campaign. Well, there was also an introduction to an open hardware developer for a rather nice USB3 hub with battery support.
They seem to really care about open and trustable hardware and software, so I’m hoping to see them get the point across. Enabling control over personal devices and data was central to starting Beagle, so I hope people can get the value proposition.
