kernel reset gpio on boot

Hi,

I’m trying to build "yet-another-proto-of-something-very-cool "

the external power is supposed to be controlled with a beagleboard’s pin: 1 - on, 0 - off.
after reset the board sets that pin (158) to 1, everything is fine, the kernel is loaded, but
right after that I see that 158 resets to 0 (before any message from the kernel) and the
power is off. how could I prevent this reset to 0 ?

thanks, Alex

I suspect that, somebody else might be using same gpio, resulting into this
behavior. GPIO158 is also muxed with McBSP1.
Just for debugging and to isolate the issue, can you disable config option
"CONFIG_OMAP_MUX" and try?

Thanks,
