Latest Angstrom (Angstrom-Cloud9-IDE-GNOME-eglibc-ipk-v2012.12-beaglebone-2013.06.17.img.xz) image

Hi,

I am trying to reflash my BBB with the latest Anstrom Cloud9 image:

[Angstrom-Cloud9-IDE-GNOME-eglibc-ipk-v2012.12-beaglebone-2013.06.17.img.xz](http://downloads.angstrom-distribution.org/demo/beaglebone/Angstrom-Cloud9-IDE-GNOME-eglibc-ipk-v2012.12-beaglebone-2013.06.17.img.xz)

I'm using a 16GB card which worked for the base image (without Cloud9 or gcc...) that I prepped on my Mac.

I started the boot this morning around 7am [ish] and still haven't got to the 4 solid blue LEDs yet.

I am powering it externally via a battery pack. I can plug it into my computer (PC now at work) via the USB remote. I see the drive (the "BeagleBone Getting Started" mount), but cannot
ping or ssh into it.

I am getting lights on USR0 (Heartbeat), USR1 (microSD card access), and USR2 (CPU) but I've not seen USR3 (eMMC access) blink (though I am not hovering over it like a hawk).

When I booted from the eMMC flasher, it took about 2 hours to complete (all 4 LEDs did go solid). I realized last night that I applied the wrong image as a lot of tools were missing (make, Cloud9, etc).

Should I keep waiting or try again?

I wound up logging in after another hour. It looked like it had loaded.

It didn’t flash though.

After a shutdown and yanking the microSD card then a restart, I was back to a bricked BBB.

It looks like I can only boot from my microSD card, but I am thoroughly confused right now about what is supposed to happen.
