I don't think the software is completely ready for it yet, but this
board is meant to be an open-source USB web-camera add-on for the
Beagle Board (or a networked camera)...
I'm interested in porting some computer vision applications from a PC
to a smaller system, I've been thinking of Beagle board as my first
option, but Leopard seems to integrate what I need: video capture and
processing capabilities.
I gave a quick visit to Leopard site, what I didn't understand is
whether Leopard is a stand alone board or it is mean to be used with
Beagle board. I see it includes SD and USB port, if used with a Beagle
board, were those necessary?
Where can I find some demo applications?

It can be used as a stand alone board.

I think only on Youtube now, we don't have any GPL demos running on this.
