I was trying to run LINKSYS Wireless-G USB Network Adapter with RangeBooster Model No. WUSB54GR on beagle board with ubuntu installed on it.
I get the following error:

Like the error says... I'd try a different port on your hub and check
your cables. It doesn't like something about your setup... I've
found some kernels where more sensitive to this... Which are you
using.. 'uname -a'

Hi. First I would find out which chipset it uses. Since you already
uses a similar item before chances are the chipset is the same. I
usually do a lsusb on my linux pc and then google the ID.
Also - you should make sure that you power off the board completely
and try again. I have sometimes experienced that the reset button on
the board is not sufficient to remove problems.

I checked the cables and they work fine with the other wifi adapter mentioned in the original post. So i guess the cables are good enough.
How should i try a different port on the hub.

I'm guessing it's just a single port hub, normally, i'd just move it
to one of the other ones and see if the error continues... I've had a
couple mostec ethernet devices report that same error shortly before
they never worked again on any arm/x86/etc machine...
What does lsusb return?
I would try a newer kernel. Such as:

I am extremely sorry for the spam.
It was unintended.
The mailer deamon kept sending the message back from a recipient and my system kept sending it to the entire list again and again.
