Looking for SD card slot

I'm looking to build a few beagle boards and now have found everthing
I need except the SD card slot. The manufacturer is unresponsive so
far and I can't find anyone that sells the part in small quantities.

It's the MoreThanAll part MHC-W21-601-LF or the alternate 7SDMM-
B0-0011.

Does anyone know who distributes them in the US or does anyone have
five spare laying around that they'd sell me?

Thanks
Duane

There are no US distributors for these parts. Kingconn is the actual manufacturer of the part and Morethanall is a distributor. You might try Kingconn. There is a 1000 piece minimum order for these parts.

If you are not planning to use all card types, you may use a
standard SD/MMC slot which can be found in any low cost card reader
instead of those 6 in 1 types. They are pin-to-pin compatible.

I've never used a SD card slot in my designs, so it's a new pin-out
for me. I'm gathering that the 6 in 1 has a pinout that is a superset
of lesser slots. Is that correct? I've also seen card connectors that
have wider pins then this 6 in 1. I'm assuming that one of these will
not work.

Another thing that is confusing me is that all of the pin-outs for
connectors listed with a card entry direction of "up" appear to have
pin-outs that are a reverse image of the original connector listed in
the BOM here and those listed as "down" have the same pin-out
orientation, but in all the photos of Beagleboards, I've seen, the SD
card is facing label up. Am I missing something?

Thanks

While the cards are compatible, the connectors are definitely not compatible across all suppliers. If you are building a board based on the Beagle design, you will need to get this specific connector…
