mic input instead of line input in beaglebone audio cape

Hello,

I need to use microphone on beaglebone audio cap. But I couldn’t find any register for using opamp of preamplifier for mic inputs instead of line. How can I use mic input?

The microphone needs to be powered to use it…

Thanks for your response. I powered up VBias voltage on Page0/Register 25: MICBIAS Control Register. But I couldn’t any register for using opamp(preamplifier) for MIC input. In user manual of TLV320AIC3106 at page 3; there is a simplified block diagram. There is a opamp for MIC1LP input. How can I use this opmap?

Best bet is to contact the people that designed and sell the cape. Another option would be to access the TI e2e community and post your question there and get assistance from the product team supporting that device.
