micro hdmi cable

I have a micro hdmi cable that works with the BBB, should this also work with BeagleV??
I don’t get any display console or anything from the Yocto build for BeagleV.
should this cable work ??

Same cable as BBB will work, edid read is done early, not plug wasn’t working for me.
