Microsoft & ARM

So I guess this a post to the Microsoft fans out there.

I was just wondering if anyone had any views on what this will mean
now that the partnership with Microsoft and ARM is official?

I don't know if many people here have seen the CES 2011 Keynote from
Microsoft where they had a demo version of Windows 8 (I think it was
8) running on a TI OMAP SoC.

It will be interesting to hear peoples views on this. I personally
have been looking for a Windows based system to play around with on
the beagleboard, where I managed to find someone had got Windows CE
running. I must admit, I haven't tried it myself yet. Though, I am a
bit of the newbie to this.

Anyway, I just thought I would open this up for discussion.

All thoughts & views are welcome!

This is standard freeze policy for MS. They are not
even _in_ the mobile game, but by announcing they
will be, they get all the MS fans to hold off buying
anything else. A friend of mine offered that he believes
it was cooked up by MS and Intel (the duopoly) to help
Intel by slowing millions of ARM processors to a crawl.
:^)
