Midi support

Hi,
I try to plug a USB midi interface (midisport 2x2) to the beagleboard
USB port and nothing append.
I've done some test with the audio and everything seem to work. Alsa
audio is working fine.
My felling is that midi support is not activated in the kernel
(default demo kernel). There is no midi tools too in the distribution.
Has anybody have any experience in using midi usb with the beagleboard
or any advice to add the support?

why don’t you compile a kernel of your need?

Thank for you answer and sorry for the delay (I had a lot of other
think to do).
I think I'll follow your advice and build the kernel.
