Modifying Arduino libraries to use with BBB

I been using Arduino’s for quite a while. I not a super programmer, more newbie. I have many Arduino shields and bricks. They mostly require libraries to run on Arduino. I woyld like to use them directly on the BBB through level shifters. Has someone already tried this?

Hi,

Don’t really know about how shields will work with the BBB but this summer it was done http://elinux.org/Userspace_Arduino during Google Summer of Code. They have good support for basic libraries as far as I remember.
