hi

my monitor has a DVI-D input so i use a HDMI to DVI-D convertor.
my HDMI goes into Beagle Board and DVI-D into the monitor...

I haven't been able to get my BB to properly output a widescreen
resolution. Tried all sorts of recommended boot/environment settings,
but no luck. I ended up swapping my widescreen monitor with a 19" 4:3
monitor, and all was well. I know this isn't *that* helpful a
response, but your BB is probably not broken; it just won't work with
widescreen monitors by default, and there isn't a clear guide on
making it start working, at least that I've come across.
