More than one proposal

Hello,

I have been quite attracted by a couple of project ideas for this GSOC. Now the question arises, can multiple proposals be submitted to same organization? The GSOC FAQ says that a student can submit at a maximum of five proposals.

I have been quite attracted by a couple of project ideas for this GSOC. Now the question arises, can multiple proposals be submitted to same organization? The GSOC FAQ says that a student can submit at a maximum of five proposals.

I was told on Google Summer of Code that this should be fine. I know the FAQ [1] doesn’t specify, but sending more than one to the same organization is fine.

6. Can a student submit more than one proposal?

Yes, each student may submit up to five proposals. However, only one proposal will be accepted. We’ve heard from our mentoring organizations that quality is better than quantity.
