MQTT server not installing on beaglebone black

2022-07-18

run:

sudo apt update

first…

Regards,

I done it but it shows less space

Yes, the apt ‘cache’ takes up space, this is why we ship it empty…

sudo apt install <pkg name>

Requires that cache to be available…

Regards,

Is there proper document available for beaglebone black for mqtt server , mqsql installation because I am new to beaglebone black

Since the board is running Debian, any Debian guide would apply… (in your case, you are running Debian Stretch 9.x)…

Regards,

I did this on a version A5B, not much memory, but it works. Used the latest Debian image and I actually did a:
apt upgrade
on the way. But that is all I did after the setup in the link, the installer will start mosquitto.
