Hi,
I recently tried to upgrade my beaglebone from r3 of the ubuntu demo
image to r6 (see http://elinux.org/BeagleBoardUbuntu#Demo_Image).
Revision 3 worked right out of the box, but both revisions 5 and 6
fail to connect properly to my local network. My router assigns an IP
address and bone shows up normally in the DHCP table, but I just get
"no route to host" when attempting to ssh or ping.
I can switch back to a stock r3 image and everything works fine. Does
anyone know (a) what changed between r3 and r6 to make this happen,
and (b) how I might go about debugging without the ability to log in?
Thanks,
Brian

Like the changlog BeagleBoardUbuntu - eLinux.org ?
r3 was the last v3.1 based kernel for the bone, with r4, i switched to
a v3.2 based kernel..
(b) how I might go about debugging without the ability to log in?
Plug in usb cable and open a serial terminal window and find out..
