No network connection after expanding image on SD card.

Hi, I’m running Ubuntu 14.04 on a BBB from an SD image.
After expanding the image on the entire sd I can no longer connect to the internet. Pinging to 8.8.8.8 doesn’t work. I can ssh to the BBB via the ethernet cable connected to my local network though. I tried to making the IP static with no luck
Any ideas?

The fact you 'expanded' shouldn't cause that issue...

What "else" did you really change?

local network though"... sounds like your eth0 connection is worknig
fine..

So can we conclude, you just can't get it to ping the network when
using the "usb ethernet/gadget" interface?

sudo ifconfig -a
