No user activity LEDS after upgrade

I flashed a beaglebone green wiireless with
https://debian.beagleboard.org/images/bone-eMMC-flasher-debian-10.3-iot-armhf-2020-04-06-4gb.img.xz and had the blue user activity lights functional. I then did apt upgrade. After reboot the 4 user leds turn off permanently early in the boot process.

I looked some based on what I found online but couldn’t find a solution.
The directory /sys/class/leds is empty.
/opt/source/dtb-4.19-ti/src/arm/am335x-bone-common.dtsi seems to have the LEDs configured.

Any idea how to get the leds showing activity again?

Very odd. What is the output of sudo /opt/scripts/tools/version.sh?

I have the same issue in my beaglebone black wireless.
I download bone-eMMC-flasher-debian-10.10-iot-armhf-2021-08-09-4gb.img to flash into eMMC.
it works. Then update_kernel.sh , also works very well.
Then apt update && apt upgrade, system upgrades as the list:
