No WiFi on Beaglebone Black wireless

I’ve just tried getting a BBBW up and running but do not seem to be able to get the WiFi to work. I’ve tried around 4 different releases including the latest and an IOT version. They all seem to fall over by not being able to see the wlan0. It doesn’t show up in ifconfig and if you try to configure it via connmanctl with say tether wifi on the same message comes back which is :-

Error enabling wifi tethering: Method “SetProperty” with signature “sv” on interface “net.connman.Technology” doesn’t exist

Any suggestions on this most appreciated.

Please run:

sudo /opt/scripts/tools/version.sh

and report it's feedback.

Hi Robert,

I have similar problem.

I have some info that, a batch of BBBW, was loaded with a firmware of Classic Beagle and cannot recognize wiFi and BLE devices.

So how can I renew the firmware of my unit?

Gokhan

Hi Robert,

git:/opt/scripts/:[4dd50b306e4eb31a05bb72a9573febc3695f1f05]

]eprom:[A335BNLTBBWG2853?O

dogtag:[BeagleBoard.org Debian Image 2017-03-19]

bootloader:[/dev/mmcblk1]:[U-Boot 2017.03-00002-gd12b1519b4]

kernel:[4.4.54-ti-r93]

nodejs:[v4.8.0]

I tried all linux versions. Once I found a note indicating that eprom must be rewritten. But lost this note.
Thanks, regards,

Gokhan
