Any aspiring mentors or folks wanting to work on the application? We
know Philip isn't available[1], but I've tried to get the ball rolling
by starting to update the application for this year. Please check out
the wiki and help improve the application and make the project ideas
cover the needs of a wide audience (and be specific). [2]
