Omapfbplay and audio

Does omapfbplay play audio streams in .avi file?
I read in the output that the audio stream is found but i can't get
audio output.
However, with mplayer, I can hear the audio stream.

I looked a bit in the sources and I suppose there is no audio support.
Am I right?

yes, mplayer plays audio, omapfbplay does not (yet)
