pci interface for BB?

I’m interested in getting fast multi-channel ADC on a PC.
Perhaps a BB board connected to a pci bus can in turn interface to
an ADC chip(s).

any ideas?

Sure, why not? You'll just have to figure out what "chip" to put on
the pci bus between the PC and your BB board.

But let's be realistic, your not going to one off design that board.
So what's wrong with usb?

Thanks, I welcome an occasional visit to realism. :slight_smile: I’m looking for say 100 khz data rate, extensible to
16 channels and 16 bits. Of course, a good programming environment plus fast memory storage is part of
the picture. So perhaps a BBB is not part of it.
I have seen the TI ADS8344, which communicates over a serial digital interface.

Anything come to mind?
