Hello,
I’m very new to hardware dev and the Beaglebone Black, in particular. So, apologies in advance for a very noob query.
As part of a prototype videophone I’m building, there’ll be a button (non-virtual) that, when pushed, will trigger a CML application on the BBB.
I know this is a rather basic exercise, but I’m wondering if anyone might steer me in the direction of some tutorials on best practice for how to wire the button (here’s the button: http://www.adafruit.com/products/1190) and any suggested script that would trigger the CML application. I’ve spent a fair amount of time researching some possible approaches. However, I’m not completely comfortable with what I’ve found, and as a noob, I’m nervous that I’ll damage the board and can’t afford to make that mistake right now.
Thanks very much in advance for any insight or suggestions.
Regards,
Charles
