Pocket Beagle 2 and ArduRover/ArduPilot

Okay and Hello There,

I am seeing some viable reasons why I cannot use the ArduPilot port to the Pocket Beagle 2 so far.

For some reason, spidev devices are not available in the /dev/ files.

Do I even need SPI to handle the ArduPilot port on the Pocket Beagle 2?

I will review the DTS file that someone made available. I am currently on 6.18.x kernels from bb-imager-rs.

Debian Trixie…

Anyway, the .service file runs and right now since the IP Address keeps changing on reboots, the .service file that corresponds to the ardurover file/binary needs something.

Now, this something that is needed has me in a bluff.

If you understand what I am saying, please reply. I am trying to get this rover up and running.

Seth

I will try: sudo apt install python3-spidev.

As in the ardupilot docs,

cd~
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/torvalds/linux/refs/heads/master/tools/spi/spidev_test.c
sudo gcc spidev_test.c -o /usr/local/bin/spidev_test
