PocketBeagle 2 - 3d step file

Hello Community,

does anybody knows of any 3d step files / models for the PocketBeagle 2?

i found the one for PocketBeagel (1) at the github repository

the pocketBeagle 2 repo does not have step files yet:

as the Design files are currently only in alegro file format i do not think it is easy to convert it to kicad to generate a 3d step file out of the board files..

maybe the easiest root - if nobody is aible to generate them from the orig. design files -
is to approximate a kciad-design with about the same parts to generate then export a nice step model.
(no traces - only components placed…)

this is a simplified version:
i tried to leave all features that are helpful with mechanical mounting intact.
and removing all others - so that it is a lighter model for usage in more complex assemblies.

pocketbeagle-2 simpliefied.FCStd (1.6 MB)
to open the file use FreeCAD 1.0 or newer
the resulting step file stays huge - 17MB -
have no idea why - so please export yourself
